Poll promise ignored, earlier stand negated. NDA has decided to stick with UPA's policy of 51% FDI in multi-brand retail , as against its pre-poll promises. While NDA had protested against then UPA govenment for allowing FDI, 3 years later, government has taken a massive u-turn on its earlier stand.
